into our coaching work with people.

Historically, horses played an important role in the lives of humans. Monarchies used them ceremoniously, war fighters used them in battle while agricultural communities depended on them to work the fields and harvest food. While today horses are used on ranches out west and for sport or hobby riders, for the rest of us they have no apparent place or purpose any longer. Like so many other extraordinary messengers and spiritual teachers who have visited our planet, horses are spiritual beings here to teach us how to return to the wholeness and sacred beauty we once were. Firmly rooted in the earth and connected to the divine, horses are uniquely able to open for us a deeper, even profound, understanding of who and what we really are. Now is the time. Now is Your time. Their coaching impact is not just another development program: they show us how to take the next, most powerful steps in our journey.
Espíritu programs open us to experience the full beauty and teaching capacity of horses and their relevance in everyday life. We see horses as supremely wise, powerful and authentic beings. As prey animals, they have survived thousands of years by evolving a highly adept sensory capacity — they see and feel the energetic vibration of our thoughts, feelings and intentions — even before we are aware of these things ourselves. They value peace and harmony and respond to these inner states in humans, as well as to their absence. We cannot hide from them! They evoke areas in our lives where we may not be congruent or living our true selves, and bring balance and clarity to these areas. Even experienced horse people are surprised by what happens when they approach their horses as wise and congruent teachers and healers. We just need to learn how to think like a horse! Espíritu is the first program to bring this teaching to the Midwest.

It makes itself known by drawing us towards those experiences that speed up its own influence and growth. Not everyone is drawn to horses, but many are. We offer programs for individuals, small groups and teams. Young adults, women in leadership, veterans, corporate and non-profit leaders and their teams, and spiritual seekers have all found value in experiencing horses as teachers and healers. Our practice helps people to find their authentic voice, stand in their true power without relying on force, move forward in times of tough change and transition with grace and ease, and find a place of sacred center within when everything without seems to be falling apart.

Whether you’re a leader wanting to build alignment and shared focus with teams, an individual wanting to claim your space when others seem to take up all the airtime, or someone seeking deeper connection with their own power and potential, horses have much to show you. After all, the question of how to move a 1200-pound animal is not that much different from how to move a 12 person team or navigate a daunting challenge. Come expecting an extraordinary time.
